Don’t fall for inaccurate aerial pre-cut gimmics that won’t fit your pool!
DIY installation of a solar or thermal blankets can be daunting, and is not for everyone. Luckily, if you have a unique pool or enjoy rural living, it is not the only option!
We are proud to offer a full Solar & Thermal Blanket measure and installation service “covering” more than 75% of the Australian population. Installation of a solar cover includes precise on-site trimming of your cover, to ensure a perfect fit. We install in Greater Brisbane, including the Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast / Perth / Greater Melbourne including Geelong / Greater Sydney including Newcastle and the Illawarra.
However, if you live further afield, trimming an over-sized blanket, draped over the pool may not be your preference. In some circumstances, even professional on-site trimming is not possible, if your pool has retaining walls or limited access.

We have three custom options, to provide a perfect custom-precut DIY solution.
Custom Pre-Cut Solar / Thermal Cover Options:-
Solar covers are cut to waterline so final measurements must reflect the “wall to wall” dimensions. Measurements can be taken to the pool wall, or to the inside edge of the pavement, with offset applied. Additionally, if you require a turned up edge, you can specify a custom offset – normally 20 – 40mm.
Option 1
If you provide the exact L x W, internal wall-to-wall dimensions of a rectangular pool, we can pre-cut the cover to a precise rectangular specification.
Option 2
We have pre-measured a wide range of current, and recent fibreglass pool models. If your pool is listed below, we can pre-cut your cover to the pool’s exact specification.
Option 3
Our DIY Solar & Thermal Blanket measuring tool will enable precise, custom robotic precut pool covers for any pool shape, up to a maximum cover width of 5.1m.
